Cork is sustainably harvested (the tree isn't cut down, just gently stripped of bark, which regrows), naturally antimicrobial, and actually gets grippier the more you sweat.

Our recovery balls and blocks are solid natural cork, built to hold their shape through years of use. Every product meets international safety standards and is tested for grip, durability, and odour control before it reaches you.

Yes .. genuinely, not just in name. Cork is biodegradable, non-toxic, and one of the most renewable materials on earth. Our packaging is 100% recyclable and plastic-free, right down to the tape.

Cork ages beautifully when it's looked after properly, here's how to get years out of yours.

Cleaning: Wipe your mat down after each practice with a cloth dampened in plain water if you've had a sweaty session! That's usually all it needs. For a deeper clean every 10–15 uses, use our soft microfibre cloth, with 3 parts water and 1 part white vinegar, working in gentle circular motions. Avoid scrubbing hard, as this can wear away the cork surface over time. Skip essential oils and harsh chemical cleaners on cork specifically.. they can stain the surface and leave a film that actually makes it less grippy, not more.

Drying: Never roll your mat away wet. Rolling it up while damp traps moisture between the cork and rubber layers, which can weaken the bond over time. Lay it flat in a well-ventilated spot until completely dry before rolling.

Sunlight: A little sun is fine, but avoid leaving your mat in direct, intense sunlight for extended periods. UV exposure can dry out and crack the cork over time and cause the natural rubber base to become brittle.

Storage: Once fully dry, roll your mat with the cork side facing out. It's designed to roll this way, so it lies flat again next time you use it. Store it somewhere cool, dry, and out of direct sun.

Recovery balls & blocks: The same basics apply. Wipe clean with a damp cloth, avoid soaking or submerging in water, and keep them out of prolonged direct heat or sunlight.

Yoga mats arrive wrapped in brown paper inside a branded inner box with a wax seal, your microfibre cloth and carry strap tucked in alongside.

Recovery balls and blocks come in the same recyclable inner box, wrapped in kraft paper. No single-use plastic anywhere in the process. What you unbox is exactly what you can responsibly recycle.

We stand behind what we make. You're covered if:

• Your item arrives damaged or defective (email us within 7 days with photos or a short video)
• You received the wrong item
• Your order doesn't arrive at all (get in touch if tracking hasn't moved after 60 days)

To start a return, email mark@zencorkbyronbay.com with your order number and what's gone wrong, we'll take it from there. Approved refunds land back in your account within 5–10 business days.

A couple of honest notes: because cork is a natural material, slight variation in color or grain is normal character, not a fault. And for hygiene reasons, we can't accept returns on used mats or recovery balls for change-of-mind reasons. If something's actually wrong, we'll always make it right.

Changed your mind minutes after checkout? No problem. You can cancel your order free of charge within 12 hours of purchase. Just email mark@zencorkbyronbay.com with your order number and we'll take care of it straight away.

After that 12-hour window, we can't guarantee a cancellation, since your order will likely have already moved into production or fulfillment. If it's too late to cancel but something's still not right once your order arrives, our Return & Refund Policy has you covered.
